I build the platform layer at MASLOW Health — HIPAA-compliant production AI for behavioral health, integrated with eClinicalWorks and architected for 42 CFR Part 2. Previously at AWS Bedrock; applied research in regulated domains before that.
Founding engineer building and operating a HIPAA-compliant production AI platform for behavioral health on AWS, architected for 42 CFR Part 2. Bedrock + Step Functions for clinician-in-the-loop reporting. FHIR + eClinicalWorks for patient sync. Postgres-backed multi-agent orchestration with custom MCP server, safety guardrails, approval gates, and multi-provider task routing.
Shipped frontend across Intelligent Prompt Routing (re:Invent 2024), Flows, Prompt Optimization, Chat Playground. Built the agent evaluation experience (later superseded by AgentCore). Drove staged rollouts across 12+ regions and GovCloud. Decoupled team-owned UI from a heavily shared monolith. Covered 24/7 on-call across Bedrock, MTurk, and Ground Truth.
Post-ChatGPT, pre-Bedrock GA. Built a full-stack LLM evaluation POC — CDK-deployed (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Cognito), LangChain + custom orchestration, HuggingFace on SageMaker, Ground Truth private workforces.
Pre-ChatGPT era. HIL labeling work that later powered LLM RLHF. Designed a tile-based classification UI for Ground Truth, later productized. Shipped grid-line annotation behind a feature flag for Ground Truth Plus vendor workflows.
Lab's VR specialist — built the VR/Unity + MQTT integration for critical-infrastructure cybersecurity research (digital twin of a Southwest Virginia water treatment plant). Helped lead the lab's pivot to AI/LLM research. First-authored SafeSpace at HCII 2024 with Dr. Azab.
